    Dear Greg,

I received the pen today, and have to say I was a bit skeptical about
Vintage pens in general and how they write. I had a low grade Parkette
(steel nib) that was not the greatest… but… WOW! The Sheaffer is
    GREAT!

It’s makes me start to think I should sell off some Modern pens of mine,
that I have a love-hate relationship with, and go more Vintage (except
for my tried and try Lamy 200 of course). :)

    And the look, superb.

Thanks again Greg. I will be a returning customer.

Now here is a deal for those who enjoy full metal pens; a like new Sheaffer’s Snorkel Pen Set for only $100.00. Fully restored, ready to enjoy. Has a very unusual Italian engraving on both the pen and pencil “Un Vero Giudice” which translates to “The True Judge.” This set came from Bakersfield, so I would imagine that a judge may have received it as a gift. The original box is stained on the top, but as you can see on the inside, it is mint. Contact me today as this item will not last long!

(SOLD 02/17/10) I was very fortunate to pick up this truly hand made, high quality Bruno Corsini Green Marble Button Filler fountain pen at the L.A. Pen Show with custom snake clip. Check out the photos below and be sure to put your cursor over each picture and click on it to get a closer look!

The Bruno Corsini company is fanatical about detail, quality, and craftsmanship. Even the blind cap covering the button filler has four “start” threads so that you can lightly screw on the cap to the back of the pen in one of four positions that is is most comfortable for the user. Add to this the well balanced and substantial feel of the pen, along with the gold, two tone nib, this pen will provide the new owner with years of pleasurable writing, not to mention a great looking pen to admire on one’s desk or pocket.

This pen is for sale so please enquire. I can modify the nib to suit your needs, either as a regrind or a retip.

Wow, what a weekend at the L.A. Pen Show this weekend! Talk about four days of fun, friends, and pens! So good to see you all that attended and for those of you who could not make it, photos below to view of the crowds, the pens, the friends! There were watches there too, lots of high end watches, and other very high end goodies too. It is amazing what you can find, and see, and buy. Such great deals too, sometimes way, way below wholesale.

I sold about 80% of inventory, as my pens were priced with value in mind. All but three of my custom music nibs sold, and 11 out of 12 of my Parker 51 music nibs sold in the first two days!

I took in a lot of retips, many from people from overseas. Countries represented at the show were Spain, Brazil, India, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Canada, Finland, and the U.K.

Thank you all for your friendship and business! I tried to give everyone who talked to me individual attention but my apologies if I did not talk to you enough. I guess you know the drill now that it is best to find me early, see my goodies early, as I sell out pretty quickly in the beginning.

Enjoy the photos below and I will have more comments/reflections to add later today, or tomorrow!

Oh, I picked up about 4 pounds of pens to restore/sell from one long time, 20 year customer who closed his jewelry store in California just 2 weeks ago! what haul of great stuff!
